Through the generosity and support of The Tulsa Metro Chamber, Fab Lab Tulsa recently awarded three local Tulsans with TMC-sponsored 2012 Fab Lab Memberships. These scholarship recipients demonstrated an interest in digital fabrication, an interest in hands-on projects, creativity, and the successful application of the lab’s machinery and resources to address new challenges. The early work of these individuals include prototypes of a novel Pluse/Oxygen meter home medical device and an ergonomic computer mouse adapter consumer product. These projects were realized entirely within Fab Lab Tulsa.
Most importantly these individuals have expressed an interest in refining these ideas and pursuing others through continued hand-on fabriction in the lab. Fab Lab Tulsa and TMC are happy to support creative Tulsans such as these and hope their 2012 Fab Lab Memberships will contribute to even more innovation.
